Christian Audigier Handbag

Before I went on vacation to Florida I felt like there were a million things to do but not enough time to do them in. My friends and I decided to take a trip to Florida. My friend, Janie, found us a beautiful house to rent for the week. The house was right on the beach. The rental house was absolutely amazing. It was a modern style home with four bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large living room, and a chef’s kitchen. The house also had an in ground pool in the backyard which lead out to the white sand beach.

I was really excited about this trip and needed to get everything in order to make sure everything ran smoothly. I started going to the tanning bed in order to get a base tan so I wouldn’t burn. I also had to go shopping for a new swimsuit and sunglasses. I ended up buying two swimsuits since one was on sale and they both looked great.

After doing my shopping I realized I didn’t have a large enough purse to use while as at the beach. After looking at many handbags I was able to buy one that worked great for my trip. I bought the Christian Audigier Marie Handbag. This handbag comes in black, rose, and silver. I love that the Christian Audigier Marie Handbag comes in a rose color which went perfectly with one of the swimsuits I bought. The handbag bag has all over studded details. The Christian Audigier Marie handbag is very large at 15 inches long and 9 inches tall. The size of this handbag is why I wanted it so bad. The size allowed me to keep everything organized inside while on vacation. This handbag has two middle pockets, two zipper sections, and three inside pockets. All of these sections allowed me to keep my things separated and easy to find. I used this bag to carry extra sunscreen, sunglasses, bottled water, all of our vacation information and flip flops.

There were six of us that went on this trip to the beach. Janie and her husband, Brandon, Troy, Mindy, Linda, and I decided that instead of flying we would make it into a road trip. We left early in the morning and didn’t arrive until the evening. When we got to the house it was just as beautiful as it had seemed in the listing. That vacation was on of the best vacations I had ever been on. I was very relaxed and refreshed when I arrived home.

Christian Audigier Handbags

Who would have thought that Christian Audigier designed elegant handbags?  For sure not me.  I thought all Christian Audigier or Ed Hardy handbags would have large tattoo or skull prints and rhinestones.  I assumed they all would be over the top styles with bold colors and drawings of tigers. But boy was I wrong!

While I was shopping for an outfit to wear out to a nice dinner with friends I came across some Christian Audigier handbags that are very classy and have elegant details.   I bought a little black dress which of course is a staple of every woman’s wardrobe.  I had needed a little black dress for quite some time.  The dress I bought is black satin.  It has a slim fit pencil skirt and spaghetti straps with a sweetheart neckline.  So I was looking for a black or silver clutch or over the shoulder handbag to wear with this dress during my evening out on the town.  I found an awesome clutch and it comes in black and silver.  It is the Christian Audigier Marta clutch.  This bag has details that look great with my little black dress. The Marta clutch is a snakeskin print but is not too bold.  The print blends in well with the fabric of the bag.  This clutch is studded on the front flap and on along the sides.  The sides of the bag are curved which is hard to find in a clutch.  Most clutch handbags are square or rectangular. The inside is just as nice as the outside with Christian Audigier Logo printed on the satin lining. The Marta clutch also has three inside pockets which will be perfect to hold all my things without worrying about carrying a huge bag when I go to dinner.

Another Christian Audigier handbag that impressed me while shopping was the Jasmine Satchel.  This satchel is impressive coming from Christian Audigier.  The first thing I noticed about this bag was the Christian Audigier logo on the outside.  This logo is CA written in script on the outside of the bag.  This detail is reminiscent of the MK logo of Michael Kors or the LV Louis Vuitton logo. The fabric of the bag is tweed like and bags amazing with the CA logo on it.  The Jasmine Satchel comes in three colors: black, grey, and denim blue.  The hardware on this satchel is silver belt shoulder straps.  This bag is of large size as it is sixteen inches tall.  Since the Jasmine Satchel is great for everyday use.  I bought this bag as well in black.  The quest for more elegant Christian Audigier handbags continues.  I’m sure I can find more based on these two great finds.

Christian Audigier

When it comes to going out for the night, finding the right out-fits is my favorite part of the process. I always live from work after a full day of work, my friends I hit a local bar to discuss what to wear.

I am not much of a girlie-girl, so I always wear Christian Audigier. Christian Audigier is known worldwide as a fashion designer and successful entrepreneur. He is best known for his Ed Hardy brand, Christian Audigier has carved a place for himself among the world’s top fashion icons through his unprecedented drive and keen entrepreneurial spirit.

Christian Audigier oversees several successful clothing brands and business ventures throughout the world. Through his collection of international companies, he has launched several popular brands with over sixty licenses, including Ed Hardy, Christian Audigier, The Same Guy, Crystal Rock, as well as Smet, C-Bar-A, and Rock Fabulous; US and international wholesale distribution, US retail stores, and international retail stores.

Audigier made his mark on Los Angeles fashion when he partnered with Von Dutch originals and promoted the brand with guerilla marketing. He started the wildly popular trucker hat trend by placing his designs on Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, who were constantly followed by the media and paparazzi. Trucker hats took off, and he continued to build the brand and celebrity following using his wild marketing strategies.

In 2004, Audigier’s entrepreneurial drive inspired him to create the Ed Hardy brand, by designing apparel using tattoo art of legendary tattoo artist, Don Ed Hardy. The brand began with t-shirts, hoodies and caps, but quickly expanded to other products through his innovative marketing approach and licensing program. Other product categories include denim, knits, fragrance, bags and shoes, to name a few. Audigier’s new approach to licensing not only kicked the brand into high gear, but created a new licensing template for fashion companies to follow.

Christian Audigier has a fervent following for his Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier brands. Celebrities such as Madonna, Britney Spears, and Kanye West, among others are frequently seen wearing his unique designs. His celebrity following includes numerous celebrities, athletes and musicians of all genres. I consider myself like these celebs.

Christian Audigier embodies and represents the pinnacle of success in achieving the American dream. His impressive list of accomplishments, shrewd business sense, and charismatic personality make him the global success that he is today.

Christian Audigier’s Smet Line

Since he was a teenager, Christian Audigier has been making a name for himself in the world of fashion. When Audigier was younger, he worked with companies such as Bisou Bisou, Levi’s, Diesel, and American Outfitters, and was a key player in the design of each brand’s denim line. His skill, expertise, and eye for detail made him indispensable and desirable in the fashion industry. It was because of hi seye catching work with jeans that he became known as “The King of Jeans” at the ripe age of 19. Since then he managed to break away and go solo, creating his own fashion line, Ed Hardy, which blended his love for Rock and Roll with the art of legendary tattoo artist Don Ed Hardy. Today, Christian Audigier has launched several more brands under his name, and continues to come up with new ideas all the time.

After Christian Audigier introduced his Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier brands, he teamed up with one of his idols, French singer and actor, Jean-Phillippe Smet better known by his stage name, Johnny Hallyday, to create the brand Smet. This brand mixes vintage style with design details such as flocking and foiling on t-shirts, two toned detail and studding on hoodies, and added flare on each item. The brand offers both men’s and women’s apparel including items such as hoodies, jackets, polos, tank tops,t-shirts, vests, dresses and more. These items pair perfectly with leather jackets, biker boots, and jeans for a genuine rock and roll look.

The Smet brand’s representative phrase “Born on the Streets” can be found on the majority of Smet products. The phrase was coined to pay homage to both Christian Audigier’s and Johnny Hallyday’s roots; Audigier grew up in a modest family and left school to start working at the age of 14, while Hallyday was constantly moving from city to city throughout Europe with his aunt and her two daughters. “Born on the Streets” is also a metaphor for the place where so many ideas originate. The brand and phrase represent desire, discipline, ambition, love, music, passion, dreams, creativity, and self expression. The phrase “born on the streets” speaks to people everywhere; it is relatable; it is likable; it is desirable.

Smet breaks away from the familiar tattoo design of Audigier’s first two original brands, Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier, and instead offers a punk and rock and roll design. Due to Christian’s eye for fashion and design paired with Hallyday’s experience and artistic influence, Smet quickly found its niche in the fashion industry worldwide. Smet has made such an impact in the world of fashion that it is sought after by people all over including celebrities from the likes of Marilyn Manson to Britney Spears, Madonna to Chris Brown, and Jessica Alba to Snoop Dogg.

Smet is just another way Christian Audigier has broken the mold and set the bar in the spectrum of design, fashion, and couture. It is one of few clothing lines that appeals to men and women, all age groups, and many different styles. Smet embraces a style and story that so many people around the world can relate to; it presents designs that stand out against the bland, trendy clothes of today; it is bold and takes chances; it is a brand for the books. Smet offers such variety in its products that almost anyone can find something they would like to buy. Smet is the perfect mix of design, detail, color, embellishments, attitude, and style.

Christian Audigier has been in the business of fashion since he was 15 years old. For 38 years he has been racking up experience in every way that he can, from working in boutiques, to designing jeans for some of the largest fashion companies in the world, to designing his first clothing line. As soon as we think he has gone as far as he can go, achieved as much as is possible, reached his highest peak, he comes back with a new brand, a new idea, a new vision that takes us by surprise all over again. This was the case with the Smet brand, and it wasn’t the last time it happened either. Now he has several more brands including C-Bar-A, Crystal Rock, Some Guy, and more. Smet is just one part of the great story and legend of Christian Audigier, and I’m sure there is more to come!

Christian Audigier the Same Guy

Christian Audigier, a world renowned fashion designer and entrepreneur, has been working his way to the top since he was a teenager. Audigier grew up in a modest family, having to leave school at the age of 14 to find work. He got his start in a small boutique in his hometown of Avignon in the South of France. The rest, they say, is history. After being on the design team for several major brands and companies, he decided to take a leap of faith and give the idea of designing his own clothing line a try. His first brand, Ed Hardy, was more successful than anyone could have imagined; it took the world by storm. It wasn’t long before you could see celebrities wearing Ed Hardy on television and in magazines. Everyone was after Ed Hardy apparel. The Ed Hardy brand featured bright, loud colors; lots of embellishments, and textured fabrics. It was the kind of clothing that would make you stand out in a crowd. It definitely didn’t go unnoticed. These same design tactics and elements can also be seen in several of his other brands that followed Ed Hardy, including Christian Audigier, Crystal Rock, Paco Chicano, and Smet. Even though these loud, over the top brands were quite successful, Audigier felt like he needed a brand that was more subtle. This thought inspired his design and development of the brand “The Same Guy.”

The Same Guy was a sort of jab at Audigier’s critics. Since the unveiling of Christian’s brand Ed Hardy in 2004, people have been criticizing him for the excessiveness of his apparel. They thought his designs were tacky, too much, an eye-sore, and used negative nicknames such as “shiny shirts” to describe his apparel. Audigier’s response to these downbeat nicknames and remarks was, “That’s exactly what I design, and today I cannot complain. People love it. The shiny, the bling bling, there’s a million people wearing it. I believe it’s the style; it’s my style.” Even though Audigier is completely right – his success is enough to prove his critics wrong – The Same Guy brand is just an added piece of evidence in Audigier’s behalf. The Same Guy proves to all of Audigier’s critics that he is more versatile than they gave him credit for; he can design quality clothing that is successful without having to use loud colors and embellishments.

Christian Audigier utilized a minimalist design tactic when creating The Same Guy. The brand has no graphics, embellishments, or logos. Instead, The Same Guy features apparel that is meant to be the embodiment of comfort and simplicity. Audigier uses soft to the touch fabrics as well as relaxed and comfortable fits to evoke a sense of calm in this new apparel line. The incorporation of vintage styles, unique washes, and beautiful colors creates a versatile brand with something for everyone. The Same Guy offers vests, dresses, long sleeve shirts, thermals, v-necks, dolman tops, off the shoulder tops, scoop necks, crewneck shirts, cardigans, hoodies, jackets, leggings, lounge pants and shorts, scarves and beanies for women. For men, it offers thermals, deep vees, v-necks, t shirts, crew neck shirts, long sleeve shirts, Henley shirts, polos, hoodies, jackets, lounge pants and shorts, and beanies. These styles can be dressed up or down, for virtually any occasion. For Women: dress it up with a nice pair of skinny jeans and a pair of pumps for a night out on the town, or dress it down with a comfy pair of leggings and slippers for lounging around the house. For men: Dress it up with a pair of dark jeans, a nice jacket or blazer, and a pair of dress shoes, or dress it down with a comfortable shirt, pair of lounge pants, and moccasins.

Christian Audigier’s brand, The Same Guy, is another success story he can add to his list. As if the success of his other brands, such as Christian Audigier and Ed Hardy, weren’t enough, The Same Guy proves Audigier’s true talent and versatility in clothing design. The Same Guy is a refreshing addition to Christian Audigier’s collection. Whereas his other brands evoked a sense of boldness and loudness, this brand evokes a sense of calmness and comfort. It is simple, yet intricate; it is minimal, yet beautiful; it is basic, yet unique. Christian Audigier is full of surprises, what will he do next?

Christian Audigier Tees

Christian Audigier is, without a doubt, a fashion icon and legend. His natural talent was first recognized when he was only fifteen years old by the executives at MacKeen Jeans and his skill and talent has only continued to grow since then. At age nineteen he earned the nickname “The King of Jeans,” later he single handedly started the trucker hat fad and put Von Dutch Originals on the map, and in 2004 he finally took a leap of faith and started his own clothing line. Christian Audigier has succeeded in every aspect of the fashion industry and continues to develop new and exciting ideas, designs, and brands. There seems to be no limit to what Christian Audigier can do with fashion. He is unstoppable. Currently,Audigier has nine different brands and over sixty licenses. Each brand offers a slightly different selection of t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, pants, dresses, loungewear, and much more. There is something for virtually everyone.

Out of all the different products Christian Audigier has to offer, his t-shirts are, by far, one of the most popular. Christian Audigier’s tees come in many different styles, textures, designs, and colors. Audigier’s original brand, Ed Hardy, is inspired by the artistic works of famed tattoo artist, Don Ed Hardy. Ed Hardy t-shirts often have images of skulls, daggers, crowns, dollar signs, tigers, dragons, and more. Also, many Ed Hardy tees have sayings such as “Love Kills Slowly” and “Death or Glory” incorporated in the design.Christian’s second brand, Christian Audigier, is similar to the Ed Hardy brand, but offers something different. The Christian Audigier brand moves away from the tattoo art design and moves toward a graphic art influence and design. Smet, a brand created when Christian Audigier teamed up with one of his idols, French singer and actor Johnny Hallyday, ventures into the style of Rock and Roll. Smet’s slogan is “Born on the Streets” and is a metaphor for where most innovative ideas originate. These shirts are atypically a bit calmer than both Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier shirts, but still include tattoo art, skulls, crossbones, and other designs we expect to see with the Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier brands. Smet, Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier tees pair perfectly with distressed jeans and a leather jacket for a casual rock/biker look, or can be dressed up with a pair of nice jeans and dress shoes for a night out on the town.

Another brand of Christian Audigier is Paco Chicano. This brand offers a similar style to both the Christian Audigier and Ed Hardy brands but with a Hispanic and Religious twist. Paco Chicano t-shirts often have images of exotic flowers and fruits, as well as images of the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ.Crystal Rock is Christian’s brand that is for females only. Crystal Rock t-shirts, as is given in the name, are influenced heavily by Rock and Roll. One can expect to see peace signs, guitars, bright colors, psychedelic designs, and images of female empowerment when shopping for Crystal Rock tees. Finally,Christian Audigier’s brand The Same Guy is the brand that is most different from the rest. Whereas Audigier’s other brands involve bright colors, loud designs, and a lot of embellishments, this brand offers neutral, solid color basic tees. These shirts are meant to be for everyday wear or loungewear but are still versatile enough to be dressed up for a night out on the town.

Christian Audigier’s brands are so extensive and include enough variation that most everyone can find something of his they would buy. His shirts allow for self expression and embrace individuality. People who wear Audigier’s designs exude confidence; they know who they are and are not afraid of showing

that to the world. Even celebrities of likes of Ryan Seacrest, Britney Spears, Madonna, Corbin Bleu, and Kanye West can be seen wearing Christian Audigier products. It is a rarity for a brand to offer both men’s and women’s apparel that is not only attractive, but also well made and figure flattering. Christian Audigier’s design talent and eye for detail can really be seen in the construction of his t-shirts. From the intricate placement of embellishment, to the bold color choices, to the pure simplicity of his “The Same Guy” collection, Christian Audigier’s shirts are, together, a fashion masterpiece.

Christian Audigier Hoodies

Winter is a season dreaded by anyone with a fashion sense. It is incredibly hard to dress warm and still look fashionable. Christian Audigier, world renowned fashion designer and entrepreneur, took note of this dilemma and worked to find a way to make winter clothing more fashion forward. Audigier offers an extensive line of hoodies for each of his different brands which bring style to the dull, bland, monotony of winter wardrobes.

Audigier got his start in a small boutique in his hometown of Avignon, France. While he was working in the local boutique, some executives at MacKeen Jeans took an interest in him and hired him on as a denim designer. After working with MacKeen Jeans he moved on to several other companies like Bisou Bisou, American Outfitters, and Diesel, helping design jeans there as well. He quickly gained the nickname the “King of Jeans” from all of his work designing high fashion denim for these well known brands and companies. It wasn’t until 2004, after working with Von Dutch, that Audigier decided to break away and do his own thing, designing his own clothing line for the first time. Ed Hardy, Christian Audigier’s first brand, was a huge success. With this brand he expanded from designing denim to creating all apparel items, including his infamous hoodies. Today, Audigier has over nine different brands, all of which include fashionable hoodies for everyone.

Audigier’s hoodies vary slightly from brand to brand, offering a wide variety of styles and designs such that there is a hoodie for almost everyone. For men, the Ed Hardy Brand offers hoodies with the notorious tattoo art that the brand is known for. Images such as tigers, fiery skulls, dragons, skulls and crossbones, hearts, eagles, and swords are prominent in the design of these hoodies, along with catchphrases such as “Death Before Dishonor”, “Love Kills Slowly”, and “Death or Glory.” Audigier’s namesake brand, Christian Audigier, offers largely logoed hoodies. These hoodies incorporate rock and roll style and automobile themes. They can be seen with images such as the Christian Audigier crest; racetrack signs, flags, and pictures; vintage cars and motorcycles; snakeskin patterns; and more. Most hoodies have “Christian Audigier Los Angeles” prominently located on the front and/or back to represent the brand’s hometown. The Same Guy, one of Christian Audigier’s newest brands, offers hoodies on the opposite end of the spectrum from the aforementioned brands. This brand offers simplified, minimalist designs and styles. The idea behind this brand was to create basic clothing from quality materials, with beautiful colors and vintage style. These hoodies come in solid colors, free from logos and graphics, and can be worn for almost any occasion.

Audigier is not only extremely talented and technical in the design of men’s clothes; he also has a knack for designing beautifully constructed clothing for women as well. For women, the Ed Hardy brand offers very similar designs and styles to that of the men’s Ed Hardy hoodies, but with a feminine twist. Images such as butterflies, skulls, roses, hearts, tigers, and geishas can be seen throughout the Ed Hardy collection of women’s hoodies. The Christian Audigier brand, again, offers hoodies with the Christian Audigier logo, as well as images of crowns, peace signs, hearts, hummingbirds, roses, and angel wings. They also come not only in cotton, but offer styles in Velour with the option of matching pants. The

Same Guy, as seen with the men’s hoodies, offers a much more simplified style in comparison with the previously mentioned brands. The loose fits, off the shoulder styles, and long tunics provide a collection of comfort, simplicity, and style that is perfect for any wardrobe. Lastly, Audigier also has a brand for women only – Crystal Rock. Crystal rock is similar to the designs of Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier, but with more feminine detail and structure. These hoodies are extremely figure flattering and often include images of cartoon females which are depicted as having strong personalities. They also include bright, feminine colors like pinks, blues and purples, as well as feminine images such as butterflies, roses, and hearts.

These are only a few examples of what Christian Audigier has to offer. Audigier’s empire also includes his Paco Chicano, Smet, C-Bar-A, CA Motoring, VIF Speedshop, Garage Parts, and Savoir Faire brands. Whether you prefer loud colors, embellishments, and bold designs, or a more simplistic design, you can find the perfect hoodie for you in one of Christian Audigier’s nine brands. Audigier’s hoodies can be worn for a variety of occasions: dress it up with some skinny jeans and a pair of pumps for women, or,for men, with a pair of dark denim pants and dress shoes; or dress it down with a pair of comfortable jeans or pants and slippers or moccasins. With a Christian Audigier hoodie you will be ready to go out fora night on the town, or stay in for a night by the fireplace with your favorite movie on.

Christian Audigier Ed Hardy

Two of the most well known names in the fashion industry that are essentially always heard together are Christian Audigier and Ed Hardy. Christian Audigier has quite a résumé in the world of fashion and is known worldwide as one of the top fashion designers and entrepreneurs. He began working in fashion when he was 14, gained the nickname “King of Jeans” by the time he was 19, put Von Dutch Originals on the fashion world map, started the trucker hat craze, and in 2004 developed his very own clothing line. Now he has nine different brands and over sixty licenses, and is continually coming up with new ideas. Don Ed Hardy’s, shortened to Ed Hardy for the Christian Audigier brand, success story and history is lesser known but his art is a huge part of Christian’s success with the Ed Hardy clothing line.

Don Ed Hardy, born in Corona Del Mar, Newport Beach, California in 1945, became mesmerized with tattoos at a very young age. After graduating from the San Francisco Art Institute with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in printmaking, he moved on to study tattoo art in Japan with Japan’s tattoo master, Horihide. The influence Japanese culture and the teachings of Horihide had on Hardy was apparent upon his return to the states; he began including Japanese aesthetic and technique into his artistic works. Today, Don Ed Hardy’s list of accomplishments, publications, and masterpieces is very extensive and diverse. Hehas curated exhibitions; published books about alternative art; produced a portfolio of lithographs in collaboration with printer Bud Shark; completed a 500 foot long scroll painting to honor the turn of the century and the year of the Dragon; and collaborated with world renowned fashion designer, Christian Audigier, to create an extremely popular brand of clothing.

When Audigier and Hardy teamed up in 2004, tattoo art in fashion was either never done or never done right because their concept took the world by storm. The artistic aesthetic, style, and design of Don Ed Hardy’s work mixed with the expertise, eye for detail, and design skills of Christian Audigier was the perfect combination for creating a successful clothing line. The brand features images such as dragons, snakes, tigers, crowns, eagles, and skulls; embellishments such as rhinestones and studs; and sayings such as “Love Kills Slowly”, “Death Before Dishonor”, and “Death or Glory.” These design elements along with the use of bright colors, make for an eye-catching, stand out in the crowd, collection.

Ever since it was first put on the market, the Ed Hardy Brand has grown exponentially, and now offers items for men, women, and kids. The Ed Hardy brand includes not only apparel and accessories such as t-shirts, hoodies, tank tops, jackets, pants, sleepwear, track jackets, hats, dresses, and shoes, but also other items such as cigarette lighters, perfume, décor, and even temporary tattoos. Ed Hardy has become so widespread that its products can be seen in almost any popular culture magazine on celebrities like Britney Spears, Madonna, Kanye West, and Ryan Seacrest.

Christian Audigier’s success with the Ed Hardy line paved the way for his next eight brands, and was a key player in the jump start and recognition of his solo career. Even though Don Ed Hardy’s tattoo art was only used for the Ed Hardy line, and he has since moved on to work on other projects, his design and aesthetic clearly made a huge impression on Christian Audigier because they can still be seen in several of Audigier’s other brands, such as, Christian Audigier, Paco Chicano, and Crystal Rock. Don Ed

Hardy did not only have an influence on Christian Audigier’s line and success, but he also influenced the fashion world as a whole. Ed Hardy set the bar for all current and future tattoo apparel lines – those already in existence had to seriously step up their game, and those that came along after Ed Hardy had to add extra tricks to their bag to even begin to compete with the famed Ed Hardy brand. As Don Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier continue on in their prospective fields, they will never forget, nor will the world ever forget the extremely successful collaboration between two strangers, that led to the creation of one of the most lucrative marriages between art and fashion.

Christian Audigier Ed Hardy Swimwear

Swimsuits were developed as a result to laws being passed in Europe, more specifically the United Kingdom, against nude bathing. The practice of swimming in the nude was common, for men, up until the 1860’s, and for women until the 1670’s, when the Bath Corporation banned it in the United Kingdom. After nude swimming was banned, men wore “caleçons,” better known today as drawers, and women bathed in one piece smocks. Later, in the 18th century, the women’s smock evolved into a gown that was made with non-transparent fabric and had weights on the bottom hem to ensure that it would not come up in the water. The men’s bathing suit was not any better than the women’s. Their suit was a wool garment with long sleeves and legs. It wasn’t until the 19th century that the women’s two piece came about. The two-piece consisted of a gown similar to the one mentioned above, but with a pair of trousers with leggings added for extra coverage. The first modern Miss America contest of 1921 marked the first respectable beauty contest that included women dressed in their bathing suits. Annette Kellerman, a swimmer from Australia, was arrested for indecent exposure during a visit to the United States because her swim suit showed too much skin. She later marketed a bathing suit line with her style of one-pieces and this line was considered the “most offensive style of swimsuit in the 1920’s.” Slowly but surely, bathing suits started to remove more and more fabric, and, therefore, show more and more skin after Annette Kellerman’s provocative swimwear line was introduced. Just after the Second World War, bikinis were introduced, and the rest is history. Today, bathing suits are a fashion division of their own, with a constant demand for new colors, styles, and designs.

Ed Hardy, a brand created by famed and respected fashion designer, Christian Audigier, is a brand of clothing that mixed tattoo art and fashion. The brand features the artistic aesthetic and design of Don Ed Hardy, a notable painter, print maker, and tattoo artist. Don Ed Hardy, known as the “Godfather of Tattoos,” and Christian Audigier teamed up to create a clothing line full of bright colors, bold designs, and stand-out embellishments. This outspoken brand rose to the top of the fashion industry in record time. The concept of mixing tattoo art and fashion took the world by storm, and has since been a leader in the fashion industry. Ed Hardy swimwear is one of the brand’s most sought after items.

Ed Hardy swimwear is as brilliant, bold, and loud as the rest of Ed Hardy apparel. For women, Ed Hardy offers one pieces and bikinis in a variety of colors and designs. Most of the Ed Hardy bathing suits for women contain images similar to those found in Ed Hardy women’s clothing. Images and design elements such as roses, animal prints, skulls, hearts, and the popular phrase “Love Kills Slowly” are often found in Ed Hardy Swimwear. For a bathing suit that isn’t as loud, Ed Hardy provides neutral colored suits with subtle detailing. For instance, Ed Hardy has a black one-piece swimsuit (it also comes in a 2-piece variety) that features a strapless style, and raised, shiny, black detailing for a little added flare. This suit includes 3 strips of sheer mesh in the front, and a mostly mesh back for a touch of sexiness. For men, Ed Hardy offers board shorts that will catch everyone’s attention at the pool or beach. With bright colors, intricate design details, Ed Hardy’s signature aesthetic design, and a great fit, these board shorts are perfect for the summertime.

The world has come a long way since the days when nude bathing was band in Europe. We went from bathing in head-to-toe coverings, bland colors, and uncomfortable materials, to almost total skin exposure, soft-to-the-touch fabrics, bright colors, intricate designs, and eye-catching aesthetics.Swimwear is now a form of self expression. Each year, when summer starts to approach, clothing companies of all varieties come out with their latest swimwear designs, trying to keep up with the ever-changing trends of the fashion world today. Consumers are then on a mad hunt for the “perfect bathing suit” – a swimsuit that incorporates the right color for their skin tone, with a unique design that will make them stand out, and is cut perfectly to fit their body type. Christian Audigier and Don Ed Hardy understood the need to create a swimwear line that would encompass all the needs for their customers.Ever since its unveiling, Ed Hardy Swimwear has been a huge hit in the realm of swimwear couture and continues to offer new and exciting styles for their customers.
